corrosion-resistant steel. Other applications include its use in superconducting 

materials, electronics, optics, numismatics and jewelry. Niobium is the basis for 

various barium titanate compositions used as dielectric coatings in 

telecommunications and small advanced electronics, such as cell phones, pagers
